Light-Duty Zero-Emission Infrastructure, Hydrogen

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District has partnered with the California Energy Commission to offer up to $5 million in Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust funding to projects that deploy light-duty hydrogen fueling stations through the Energy Commission’s grant funding opportunity, GFO-19-602 – Hydrogen Refueling Infrastructure, which closed on 5 p.m., Friday, May 22, 2020.

A Notice of Proposed Awards for the solicitation has been published, which includes awards of the $5 million in Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust funding. More information is available on the Energy Commission’s website.

All funding has been contracted and there is no additional funding for this type of project.
